This large XXL leather book with an embossed cross is handcrafted in India using traditional techniques. The dark brown cover is made from genuine leather and decorated with detailed embossing featuring a distinctive cross motif in the centre.
The inside of the cover is lined with black fabric, providing additional stability and complementing the dark leather. Thanks to its classic design, the book can be used as a notebook, sketchbook, guest book, scrapbook or memory book.
The thick, handmade cotton paper has a distinctive texture and is suitable for a variety of writing and drawing materials, including ballpoint pens, pencils, gel pens and coloured pencils, as well as many other creative uses. As the paper is handmade, its surface may vary slightly from page to page.
With approximately 200 pages measuring around B4 size (25 × 33 cm), the book provides plenty of space for writing, drawings, thoughts, memories and personal entries. The pages are noticeably larger than standard A4 paper.
The embossed cross design also makes the book suitable for personal records connected with faith, church, First Communion, confirmation, pilgrimages or other important occasions. It can equally be used simply as a large writing, drawing or guest book.
Each book is handcrafted in India and is unique. The genuine leather is tanned, dyed and finished by hand. Together with the natural differences between individual hides, this means that colour, texture and surface appearance may vary from one book to another. Small irregularities, fine scratches, creases or occasional small cracks may also occur and are part of the natural, handcrafted character of the leather. The handmade cotton paper may also show slight irregularities. All books undergo a quality check before dispatch.
